Representative Suzanne Wikle Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign for House District 10
Lawrence, KS — Representative Suzanne Wikle announced her re-election campaign for Kansas House District 10 at a Tuesday night kickoff event at Fields & Ivy Brewery attended by more than 100 supporters. Governor Laura Kelly endorsed Wikle earlier this week.
“It’s an honor to serve District 10 in Topeka, and I’m excited to continue fighting for the issues that matter most to our community,” Wikle said. “I’m committed to standing up for Kansas families, workers, and public schools while making life more affordable.”
This session, Wikle helped pass legislation expanding access to naloxone and lowering prescription drug costs. During her time in office, she has advocated for Medicaid expansion, universal school meals, a child tax credit, and fully funding public education.
Governor Laura Kelly said, "I wholeheartedly endorse the re-election of Representative Suzanne Wikle. I have known Suzanne since 2010, when we worked to strengthen the Child Care Licensing laws in Kansas. She is a tough and effective legislator who fights for the issues that make a difference in people’s lives—public schools, affordable health care, good-paying jobs, and responsible tax policy. She is the clear choice for House District 10."
Wikle earned a 100% score from the AFL-CIO Working Families Scorecard and received the American Heart Association’s 2026 Kansas Access to Care Champion Award. She also serves on the Kansas Children’s Cabinet.
In addition to Governor Kelly, Wikle has earned endorsements from former Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Senator Marci Francisco, Representative Mike Amyx, Representative Barbara Ballard, Representative Brooklynne Mosley, and House Democratic Leader Brandon Woodard.
“I’m more motivated than ever to fight for lasting change for Kansas families,” Wikle said. “I look forward to continuing to deliver results that make life more affordable for working families.”
